POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician handles physical plant tasks for our Company 3 Harlow Location Floors 1 & 2. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will handle regular maintenance and upkeep, troubleshoot issues, and work with vendors and 3rd party contractors. The Facilities Maintenance Technician reports to the Facility Producer and VP of Operations West.
MAIN DUTIES:
The Facilities Technician will work with the Facility Producer to handle maintenance and upkeep for first 2 floors of the Harlow location. They will work with vendors pertaining to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, locks, and other 3rd party contractors. They will be available to handle emergencies pertaining to HVAC, leaks, etc. or able to assess the problem onsite and arrange for emergency service. They will assess the facility regularly and attend to maintenance needed. Other duties include:

They will be available to handle emergencies pertaining to HVAC, leaks, etc. or able to assess the problem onsite and arrange for emergency service. They will assess the facility regularly and attend to maintenance needed. Other duties include:
- Prep offices for client occupancy including patching and painting walls, checking all furniture and small appliances are in good working order, making adjustments as needed.
- Adjust HVAC vents, dampers for temperature control. Check HVAC units daily and note when service is needed.
- Move office furniture, rugs, file cabinets, mini fridges using dollies and hand trucks.
- Assemble and install furniture (e.g. assemble shelves, desks, consoles).
- Mount and hang items such as sound baffles, corkboards, whiteboards, pictures.
- Change lightbulbs, adjust light fixtures as needed.
- Able to work independently to prep spaces for work and clean up after work is complete.
- Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly Preventative Maintenance tasks as needed.
- Update Facility Producer and VP of Operations West with detail on facility progress reports.
- Work with Facilities Cleaning team to clean facility.
- Perform other duties as assigned such as covering for coworkers for PTO or sick days.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekend work.
