Position: Shipper/Receiver
Location: Vancouver, BC
Hours of Operation: 6 am – 2 pm PST *
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 CAD hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Vault/Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the inventorying, maintenance, and management of the Vault Department for a Post Production/VFX House as well as operation of the shipping and receiving department. Organized, professional and customer-service focused, this person is detail oriented and able to work efficiently within a team environment.
MAIN DUTIES:
Manage all incoming and outgoing physical assets using tracking software
Inventory assets and allocate them to the appropriate department or personnel within the facility
Handle time-sensitive and confidential assets with care and discretion
Review and implement physical asset protocols for various production cycles
Coordinate with the Dailies and Data IO department to organize daily physical deliverables for local productions
Inspect physical deliverables for errors before passing them on to clients
Ensure proper handling, security, and documentation of all assets throughout the process
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Willingness and ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving packages.
