*Pay Range: $94,000 - $150,000 USD annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Network Engineer embodies a position with a deep understanding of networking fundamentals across hybrid environments. The position is responsible for supporting and maintaining Company3 network infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues and supporting other IT staff with complicated escalated issues.
MAIN DUTIES:
The Senior Network Engineer will collaborate with other network team members to design, deploy and maintain functional networks at scale. They will configure and maintain hardware, including switches, routers and security appliances throughout the equipment lifecycle, recommend solutions and improvements throughout the network service stack, and maintain technical documentation related to network architecture and workflows. They will also be responsible for the following:

The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience as Network Engineer or Administrator, as well as previous experience with Arista and Fortigate hardware. They must have a deep understanding of networking concepts (cabling types, protocols, switching, routing, etc.), and have demonstrated knowledge of networking best-practices and security protocols. - Analyze network metrics and recommend improvements for performance, integrity and security
- Mentor team members with technical and professional guidance
- Monitor network performance
- Deploy automated workflows to increase network administration efficiency
WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience as Network Engineer or Administrator, as well as previous experience with Arista and Fortigate hardware. They must have a deep understanding of networking concepts (cabling types, protocols, switching, routing, etc.), and have demonstrated knowledge of networking best-practices and security protocols. - Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Ability to communicate with users of varying technical knowledge
- Available to work on-call on weekends on rotation
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Experience with network troubleshooting tools
- Customer service mentality
- Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations
- Related certifications
- AWS experience
- Automation experience
